Print shows the Great Seal of the Confederate States of America with George Washington at the center of a seal, in a full-length portrait, wearing military uniform, sitting on a horse, facing left, with a border comprised of plants representating the agriculture of the South, cotton, tobacco, corn, wheat, sugar cane, and rice, and the text forming the outer rim with the motto "Deo Vindice" at bottom.

Signed on stone at bottom center.

Printed at lower left: "Orginally engraved by Joseph S. Wyon, Chief Engraver of Her Majesty's Seals, London, England."

Printed at lower right: "Reproduced and copyrighted 1911, by Annie Payne Pillow, 1464 Clifton Street, N.W., Washington, D.C."

Includes a facsimile of a notice of authenticity by "Allan G. Wyon, Medallist and Engraver to His Majesty the King of England. 25th April 1912" on which he states "that I found the reproduction to be a careful and accurate reproduction of the Great Seal."

Inscribed in ink on cover sheet: "Ac. D.R. C2154B".
