Battaglia visited different locations and service members supporting Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve to see the progress of the building partner capacity sites and to speak with troops on ground. Battaglia serves as the principal military advisor to the chairman and the secretary of Defense on all matters involving joint and combined total force integration, utilization, health of the force and joint development for enlisted personnel.
