U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Frank Grassi, right, assigned to the Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan congratulates Capt. Mirwais Amiri of the Afghan national army three days after Amiri saved a 15-year old patients life by performing a pericardio centesis procedure. It was the first time a pericardio centesis had ever been done at the National Military Hospital, and it saved the 15-year old patients life.
