Where did you go to school: Seattle Pacific University

Optional:​ What did you study? European Studies/Russian

How did you get interested in conservation? I really did not know that much about fish and wildlife / conservation prior to working at FWS. I started working at Fish and Wildlife in 1999

What’s your favorite thing about working for FWS? The very few days I can get out of the office and visit a refuge or hatchery

What’s your favorite species and why? Elephant Seal, because I most recently saw a baby elephant seal being born.

If you could have one incredible animal adaptation, what would it be? Flippers – I like to swim
