The Saturn V stack and its mobile launch tower are atop a huge crawler-transporter. The prime crew men of the scheduled Apollo 16 lunar landing mission are astronauts John W. Young, commander; Thomas K. Mattingly, command module pilot; and Charles M. Duke Jr., lunar module pilot.
