Wanted: Information about The White Buses, København Denmark
Summary
The National Museum of Denmark is currently seeking individuals stories and objects associated with the White Buses, who rescued over 17,000 people out of the concentration camps in Germany during World War II. The aim is a special exhibition to mark the 70th anniversary, and to tell the story about kindness and citizenship in a time of war, insecurity and fear.
WW2 Images mostly from 1940-1945, during the occupation of Denmark. The National Museum is many museums in one. It is Denmark's largest museum of cultural history and includes the Open Air Museum, the Museum of Danish Resistance, Royal Jelling and 9 other museums.
