This aircraft was one of the Royal Flying Corps' training planes, based at Camp Mohawk or Camp Rathbun near Deseronto, Ontario during the First World War. The caption reads "Fresh Air Fiend".
Part of an album of Royal Flying Corps photographs which belonged to the Hobbs family.
