Summary
Significance: As originally built, 1007-1999 D Street was the largest building on Square 348, being six bays wide and four stories tall. The original facade has been covered with an aluminum screen, and the building has been visually and physically separate from 1009 D Street and attached to 1005 D Street. It is located in the Pennsylvania Avenue Historic District.
