127th Wing stands ready after snowstorm

SELFRIDGE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Mich.-- Equipment engineers with the 127th Civil Engineer Squadron, Roads and Grounds shop here, diligently clears the snow early this morning, operating two Oshkosh snowplows number 20, and number 13. Efforts to clear base roads, parking lots, runways and airfield ramps, is necessary to allow our mission to continue unimpeded. The Roads and Grounds crew work diligently to keep the ramp clear so that the mission here is never impacted. Selfridge Air National Guard Base never "closes," it remains open under any prescribed contingency.
