170915-N-VD165-175 SAN DIEGO (Sept. 15, 2017) A color guard of chief petty officers, assigned to amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), parade the colors during a chief petty officer pinning ceremony at Commander, U.S. Third Fleet Headquarters. The pinning ceremony was the culmination of six weeks of training and indoctrination during CPO 365 Phase Two. Boxer is currently in its homeport undergoing a phased-maintenance availability period.
