181010-N-HI376-1112 EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 10, 2018) Culinary Specialist 3rd Class Jared Irvine attempts to prevent his baton from being stolen by Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Dylan McCurry after being sprayed by oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray during security reaction force training aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20). Green Bay, part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response for any type of contingency.
