SANTA RITA, Guam (Aug. 22, 2019) Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 1st Class Kyle Hall, selected to chief petty officer, from Austin, Texas, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 3rd Class Devin Rodriguez, a native of Tampa, Florida, both assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5, inspect target during a weapons familiarization live-fire demonstration as part of Exercise HYDRACRAB. HYDRACRAB is quadrilateral exercise conducted by forces from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and U.S. naval forces. The purpose of this exercise is to prepare the participating Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) forces to operate as an integrated, capable, and potent allied force ready to respond to a changing and complex maritime environment in the Indo-Pacific region.
