(July 29, 2020) A local fifth grade student takes a selfie with her dog while participating in a class about GIS (Geographic Information Systems) during Girls Day Out, an event held by the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) outreach team at Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic. The event hosted hundreds of students from over a dozen states during this year’s 9th annual Girls Day Out, which wrapped up August 1.
