U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) staff continue work at the USDA Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) National Finance Center’s (NFC) Alternate Worksite Facility near Shreveport, LA, at Bossier City, LA, on Monday, Feb 13, 2017. The NFC, in New Orleans, suffered severe damage from an EF3 tornado, on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017. The facilities are 350 miles apart. Approximately 1,300 employees were displaced, however, there are no reports of fatalities or major injuries. 182 employees are on site supporting critical processes. They are a Shared Service Provider for Financial Management Services and Human Resources Management Services.
