Summary
The Permanent Representative of Timor-Leste to the United Nations, H.E. Mr. Karlito Nunes on behalf of Timor-Leste, signed a Joint Communique with the Commonwealth of Dominica Permanent Representative, Ambassador Loreen Ruth B.R. aimed at strengthening the bilateral relationships between the two island countries which have so much in common.
On this occasion, Ambassador Nunes mentioned although far apart, Timor-Leste has so much in Common with the Commonwealth of Dominica. Both countries became independent from the similar pathway. Both countries have similar governances system and as tropical islands country grow coffee, coconuts, bananas and also with potential in the tourism sector, with nice beaches, forests and mountains.
