208-PU-115-CC-2: Admiral William D. Leahy, USN, being awarded the Navy Distinguished Service Medal by President Franklin D. Roosevelt at the White House, Washington, D.C. Though photograph is undated, this medal is possibly the first Navy Distinguished Service Medal he received following his tour as Chief of Naval Operations from 1937 to 1939.
