“26 MEU”, is inscribed on a steel plate at the Center for National Response (CNR) in Gallagher, W. Va., Oct. 25, 2012. Marines and sailors assigned to the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN), Assessment and Consequence Management (ACM) team, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conducted training scenarios for two weeks at CNR, a flexible training complex that provides multi-scenario exercises for the military or joint operations with military and first responders. The 26th MEU CBRN/ACM Team is the first fully trained, certified and equipped team to deploy with a MEU, which is slated to deploy in 2013. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Christopher Q.
