54th Quartermaster Company Soldiers conduct a promotion ceremony on April 8, 2020 during the unit's mortuary affairs mission in support of the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner's coronavirus response. Pvt. Estsfanie Modlin and Pvt. Dariana Velasco were both promoted to Pvt. 2 during a ceremony held in Times Square. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for the whole-of-nation COVID-19 Response.
