Pensacola, Fla. (Dec. 14, 2005) A computer illustration showing the new 53,377 square foot physical fitness center on board Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla., which will replace the old facility destroyed by Hurricane Ivan in 2004. It will serve active duty, enlisted Department of Defense personnel, naval aviation rating students, base transient personnel, reservist and retirees at the base. The Navys Fitness and Sports Program is a Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) activity. The facility is expected to be completed in summer of 2007. U.S. Navy illustration File# 051214-N-0000X-001
