A graduating soldier from the Basic Military Police Course (BMPC) receives his certificate from Command Sgt. Maj. Robert Sturdahl, Commandant of the 243rd Regional Training Institute (RTI), on August 7, 2016 at Quonset, R.I. The RTI provides institutional training for the Non-Commissioned Officer Education Systems (NCOES), Officer Candidate School (OCS), and Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS). Among other courses, it also provides training for the 31B Basic Military Police Course (BMPC) where prior service members holding various military occupational specialties (MOS) are trained to become Military Police Officers.
