This subject matter expert exchange on jungle survival tactics was given to show U.S. Marines how Guatemalan special forces survive in the jungle with the absence of traditional packaged food. The Marines are supporting Amphibious-Southern Partnership Station 2012, an annual deployment of U.S naval assets in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
