A member of the U.S. Army Japan Band plays his instrument during a performance Dec. 7, 2019, at Camp Asaka, Japan. The performance was in support of Yama Sakura 77, and was followed by members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Eastern Army Band. YS 77 underscores a continued commitment by both the United States and Japan to work as dedicated partners in support of the U.S.-Japan security alliance and for continued peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
