A Navy Mark V special operations craft, a 50-ton, 82-foot-long speed boat used to insert and extract SEAL combat swimmers in and out of high-threat areas, is squeezed into a C-5 Galaxy aircraft from the 349th Air Mobility Wing, Travis Air Force Base, California, with only inches to spare. Not only do the loadmasters manage to wedge the boat aboard as well as the 18-wheel tractor trailor it sits on, but they also fit in a "deuce-and-a-half" truck (not shown), and a High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV)and trailer (not shown).
