Summary

A Reconnaissance Marine assigned to Force Reconnaissance Platoon, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, adjusts his gear before conducting a diving operation in Mile Hammock Bay on Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 23, 2012. This training was conducted to familiarize the Marines with new diving gear and to increase confidence while navigating underwater. The training was conducted as part of the 26th MEU's pre-deployment training program. The 26th MEU is slated to deploy in 2013.
