Summary

A recruit of Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, fireman’s carry his partner during a combat fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Sept. 20. Recruits must perform a buddy drag and fireman’s carry during the 75-yard long course. Recruits are paired up with other recruits of similar weight and height to ensure every recruit is being tested evenly. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate Nov. 21.
