Summary

A recruit with Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, holds up his boots during pick up at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Oct. 26. The recruits held out their boots to signify accountability of the items the drill instructors request to see. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Hotel Company is scheduled to graduate Jan. 18.
