PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 15, 2008) A Sailor jumps off of the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Howard (DDG 83) during a scheduled swim call. The two-hour swim call was the first for Howard this deployment. Howard and the Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group are on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility operating in the western Pacific and Indian oceans.
