A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 35th Fighter Squadron at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, refuels from a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker from the 909th Air Refueling Squadron near the Korean Peninsula Aug. 19, 2015. The F-16 is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft designed to provide a relatively low-cost, high-performance weapon system for U.S. and allied nations.
