A U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook from the 3rd General Support

A U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook from the 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, lands Aug. 9, 2017, from the flightline on Tapa Army Base, Estonia. During an exercise with A-10C Thunderbolt II’s from the 175th Wing, Maryland Air National Guard, U.S. Army Soldiers are participating in a flying training deployment funded by the European Reassurance Initiative in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The U.S. Air Force’s forward presence in Europe allows the U.S. to work with allies and partners to develop and improve ready air forces capable of maintaining regional security.
