Summary

A view of the tower at Range 26 is shown on North Post on Sept. 28, 2018, at Fort McCoy, Wis. The tower is relatively new and was constructed in the past year on post as part of continued improvements to the installation's Range Complex. Training areas like this are set up across Fort McCoy for transient training operations. In fiscal year 2017, a record 155,975 personnel trained at the installation. Fort McCoy has supported America’s armed forces since 1909. The installation’s motto is to be the “Total Force Training Center.” The post’s varied terrain, state-of-the-art ranges, new as well as renovated facilities, and extensive support infrastructure combine to provide military personnel with an environment in which to develop and sustain the skills necessary for mission success.
