Summary

A postcard from the Ken Levin Toledo Postcard Collection, donated by Toledo resident, Ken Levin. Mr. Levin's collection was published by the Toledo Blade in a book entitled "You Will Do Better in Toledo: From Frogtown to Glass City," edited by Sandy and John R. Husman. This black and white postcard depicts the 300-400 blocks of Adams Street, toward the northwest, in Toledo, Ohio. The building in the center on the right side is the Valentine Theatre at the corner of North Saint Clair and Adams Streets. Trinity Episcopal Church, 316 Adams Street, is just before the theatre on the right. The card is post-marked February 23, 1916. Handwritten script on the back indicates the card was addressed to Mr. Leo Stitt, 144 East Clarke Street, Ilion, New York, from the sender at 509 Walbridge Ave, Toledo, Ohio.
