Afghan and coalition servicemembers prepare to participate in a Tranche 3 security transition ceremony at Camp Sayar in Farah on Dec. 12. After the completion of the third phase of transition, Afghanistan will be responsible for protecting over 75 percent of their country's population. PRT Farah's mission is to train, advise, and assist Afghan government leaders at the municipal, district, and provincial levels in Farah Province Afghanistan.
