Afghan Border Police detain two men suspected of being members of the Taliban during operation Eagle Hunt west of Tahgaz in the Helmand province, Afghanistan, Dec. 9. Eagle Hunt included patrolling more than 30 kilometers during a three-day period through the area west of Tahgaz, allowing the border police a chance to search more than 150 Afghan houses and compounds for materials or machinery used to grow the poppy crop, detain members of the Taliban, provide locals with knowledge about Afghan law and search for improvised explosive devices.
