Afghan commandos from 3rd Company 1st Commando Kandak, discuss with local leaders the plan of attack for countering an insurgent attack on the Kamdesh district center. ANASF, partnered with coalition SOF, assaulted the insurgents in response to an unprovoked attack on a security shura at the Kamdesh district center. During the shura, insurgents killed a local national woman and an Afghan Local Policeman. The commandos killed more than 40 insurgents in the counteroffensive.
