After the return of the auxiliary aircraft landing training ship USS LEXINGTON (AVT 16) to its home port, journalists photograph some of the damage incurred when a T-2C Buckeye aircraft crashed into the ship's superstructure. The accident, which occurred during routine training on October 29, killed five people and injuring 19. The wreckage in the foreground is from two other Buckeye aircraft destroyed in the accident
