After working early into the morning, June 18, 2016, Lance Corporals Juan S. Peres and Jody W. England begin to purify water after assembling a lightweight water purification system, at Taurama Barracks, Papua New Guinea, during Task Force Koa Moana’s deployment in the Asia-Pacific region. The “water dogs” have the responsibility of providing potable water to the task force when in country during their deployment. England, from Casa Grande, Arizona, and Peres, from San Bernardino, California, are water purification specialists with Task Force Koa Moana, originally assigned to Support Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
