Air Forces Southern Surgeon General in collaboration

Air Forces Southern Surgeon General in collaboration with our Chilean partners hosted a online discussion concerning Aerial Evacuations of COVID-19 patients at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, 4 August 2020. During the discussion, representatives from the U.S., Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay shared their unique challenges, lessons learned and best practices across five areas of concern. These areas include emergency management, patient movement, equipment, infectious disease management, patient movement protocols and command and control.
