CHARLESTOWN, Mass. (Aug. 19, 2008) Air Traffic Controller 1st Class Shea Bickerstaff, a chief selectee temporarily assigned to USS Constitution, paints a doorframe at Warren-Prescott Elementary School as part of a community relations project. Chief selects and mentors are chosen from around the world to travel to, live and train aboard USS Constitution for "Old Ironsides" Chief Petty Officer Heritage Training week. In addition to traveling to local historical sites and volunteering for the community, the unique instruction in 18th century seamanship they receive aboard USS Constitution immerses the Navy's newest chiefs in more than 200 years of naval heritage.
