Air traffic controllers from the 332nd Expeditionary

description

Summary

Air traffic controllers from the 332nd Expeditionary Operations Squadron, from left, Staff Sgt. Ryan Tripp and Tech. Sgt. John Neff, help direct air traffic in the Iraqi theater of operations, Apr. 15. Sgt. Tripp and Sgt. Neff work for the 332 EOSS Combined Enroute Radar Approach control office, which is known as CERAP. This office was recently relocated to a new, state-of-the-art facility and now CERAP controllers work side-by-side with the controllers of the 727th Expeditionary Air Control Squadron, which is known as Kingpin. The relocation helps the two groups of controllers communicate with each other and allows them to provide a timelier "picture" of air traffic in the theater to the Combined Air Operations Center. Sgt. Tripp is deployed from Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.; Sgt. Neff is deployed from Aviano Air Base, Italy.
