Airman Niko Batre, an aviation ordnanceman, ties off the line after raising the national ensign while Petty Officer 2nd Class Joshua Tollins, an aviation ordnanceman, and Airman Hing Phongthirath, an aviation ordnanceman, stand by during morning colors on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan’s colors ceremony follows naval tradition by rendering honors to the flag of the United States as it is raised from the flagstaff every morning while in port.
