Summary
A Coast Guard HH-60J Jayhawk helicopter stops off for a refuel on the island of Sitkinak, Alaska. This is a small island just south of Kodiak, within sight of the village of Akhiok. Sitkinak is one of the Trinity Islands. The Coast Guard operated a Long Range Aids to Navigation (LORAN) station on the island from 1960-1977.
