Albert Phillips, a native of Tucson, Ariz., and student at Empre High School, runs a passing route during the Proving Ground National Combine at Chase Field, Jan. 2. The combine is a high skills competition showcasing 300 top high school rising stars with special emphasis placed on character, academic performance and attitudes that most reflect the Marine Corps' values of honor, courage and commitment.
