The dining-room has a batten wainscoting of chestnut with the walls above tinted a bluish green color The dining-room is treated in a similar manner. It has a shelf, is a dignified feature of the room. The den is a study wainscoting of chestnut battens which are matched and in red, and it is most artistic in its treatment and has an open fastened together with "Dutchmen"'; this is very effective for fireplace and bookcases built in. it helps to match the woodwork.
