American Red Cross - Soliciting Funds - Miscellaneous - Stationary parade aids city's last drive for American Red Cross Fund, June 1917. Hundreds of women stood at the curb on both sides of Fifth Ave., from 30th to 50th Sts. At interval sof 10 ft. apart between the hours of 11 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. They wore unifroms of white with a sash bearing the words "Help the Red Cross". This was done as a climax in the big drive for $100,000,000
