An Afghan National Police officer disassembles and reassembles a newly received M16A2 assault rifle during the hands-on portion of an M16 class at Bost Airfield, Afghanistan, Aug. 15, 2017. After receiving new M16A2s, replacing their AK-47s, both the ANP were taught the basics of identifying parts, weapons maintenance, and how to conduct a functions check.
