An E-5 and below working party consisting of both sailors and Marines transfers supplies across the boat deck aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) during a replenishment-at-sea with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Alan Shepard (T-AKE 3). Rushmore is a part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
