Summary

An F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the Ohio Air National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing, takes off from Kecskemet Air Base in Hungary, May 26, 2017. More than 150 Airmen and eight F-16s from the 180FW deployed to the air base to participate in exercise Load Diffuser 17 at the Hungarian Air Base from May 22 to June 9, 2017. Load Diffuser is a Hungarian Air Force-led, multinational flying exercise between NATO allies and partner nations. Multinational training engagements such as these strengthen our relationships, help us maintain joint readiness and interoperability, and reassure our European allies and partners. The U.S. and Hungary, as NATO allies, share a commitment to promote peace and stability, and seek opportunities to continue developing their relationship.
