An HH-60G Pave Hawk from the 56th Rescue Squadron, Keflavik NAS, flies a simulated rescue mission over coastal waters of Iceland. During the mission, the helicopter will locate the downed pilot and extract him from the water and fly him back to Keflavik NAS hospital for medical attention. The simulation is part of NORTHERN VIKING '95, an exercise to test the plans of the defense of Iceland should the country ever be attacked
