Summary
An Iraqi soldier, assigned to the 76th Iraqi Army Brigade, loads a magazine into his M16 rifle during a zero range, Camp Taji, Iraq, Sept. 27, 2016. Range training helps familiarize Iraqi security forces with how to zero their weapons and allowed them to practice their marksmanship skills. This training is critical to enabling the ISF to counter the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant as they work to regain territory from the terrorist group and supports the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve's building partner capacity mission.
