An Iraqi soldier with the 72nd Iraqi Army Brigade fires his M16 rifle during a combined arms breach training exercise (CABEX) at Besmaya Range Complex, Iraq, Jan. 27, 2016. The CABEX validates the brigade’s ability to maneuver multiple assets across the battlefield as well as the ability to defeat obstacles such as mine fields, berms, locked doors and windows. The curriculum at building partner capacity sites includes: leadership, ethics and law of war training and instruction.
